In the current situation of inflation and high mortgage interest rate, people are thinking of gaining a little money to be able to pay their mortgages and save their properties. Hence, although it’s tough to share the place with some stranger they are considering renting out their basements.

Since the City rule is to legalize the basements in every aspect to make sure everyone is safe, we are aware of all rules in different areas and have done many legal basements finish projects across the GTA area. These legal issues are the minimum height assurance, the egress window installment, fire resistance standards (resilient channels, safe and sounds insulations, fire resistant drywalls, and sprinklers) and so on. 

In this process we also did the side doors openings or walk out basements as well, depending on the circumstance. Doing all the work from framing to finishing basement is part of our duty.
